Dear customers

    All orders are currently processed and shipped as usual. If something changes in this situation, we will of course inform you here.

    Our shipping partner, the Swiss Post, is doing an extraordinary job in this special time and we ask for your understanding of the mail carriers when a shipment arrives later than usual.

    We would also like to inform you that our nine branches will remain closed until 19 April 2020. However, our customer service is happy to help.

    In stock: the item is in stock at Helen Kirchhofer. You will receive the ordered item in 1-2 days.

    In stock at the supplier: the article is in stock at the supplier (e.g. Tissot) and will be ordered for you. Since suppliers' delivery times vary, the ordered article should be with you within the specified delivery time.

  • Can I pay by invoice?

    We offer the option to pay by invoice for order up to CHF 5000.-. Please note that our online store checks each command in the background and decides automatically if it is possible to pay by invoice or not.

  • What can I do if I’m not happy with my purchase?

    No problem. You have a 14 day return right after the receipt of your order. Please note that we will accept items that are still new and unworn.

  • How can I return my purchase?

    The easiest way is to take the package that we sent you (with the delivery slip) and send it to our address:

    Bring the package to the post office and send it by registered mail. Why registered? This is the only way to be sure that the package comes to the right place.

  • Do I get a guarantee?

    Yes, you get a guarantee. Watchmakers generally offer a 2-year guarantee. The guarantee of a product is listed individually under "Details".

  • What do I do in the case of a guarantee claim?

    You can contact us by email, contact form or telephone. As soon as we receive the item from you, we will take care of the guarantee processing with the manufacturer.

    Of course, you also have the possibility to send the article directly to the respective manufacturer.

  • Can I also collect the item?

    You can also collect your order at one of our stores. Please do not hesitate to contact us by email or telephone. We're look forward to your visit!

  • I didn't find what I was looking for, what now?

  • What happens to my order if I am not at home?

    Helen Kirchhofer sends each order first-class registered with Swiss Post. If you are not home at the time of delivery, the postal employee will place a collection ticket in your mailbox. This way you have the possibility to pick up the package at the post office.

  • Is Helen Kirchhofer just an online shop?

    No, because Helen Kirchhofer owns 8 physical branches in addition to this online shop. Helen Kirchhofer is also not a member of any chain and a completely independent Swiss company.

If the ordered item(s) do not meet your expectations, you have the right to return them. Please note that you have a period of 14 days to return the item. The return period starts from the day of receipt or pick up of your package.

We are unable to offer a right of return for the following items, but a right of exchange:

When placing an order on account, you have the option to pay the invoice in full or in instalments. You only have to decide when you receive the invoice. Please also note that the payment period is always lasts until the end of the respective month.

Payment by instalments:

  • Would you like to pay the invoice amount in instalments and transfer the absolute minimum amount?


Please use the completed payment slip for the transfer. The absolute minimum amount (10% of the total amount) for the current month is already entered on this deposit slip.


  • Would you like to pay the invoice amount in instalments and transfer more than the absolute minimum amount?


For the transfer, please take the blank deposit slip and decide how much you want to transfer for the current month.

We differentiate availability as follows:

In stock:

The item is in stock at Helen Kirchhofer. You will receive the ordered item in 1-2 days.

In stock at supplier:
The article should be in stock at the supplier (e.g. Tissot) and will be ordered for you. The delivery information will inform you of waiting time expected before receiving the order. Please note that this period is based on information supplied to us by our suppliers. Unfortunately it regularly happens that suppliers or manufacturers themselves are not able to meet their deadlines and delivery is delayed (except Longines). We will inform you immediately if this happens and you can decide what action to take.

The delivery times indicated represent a period in working days. If we receive the product sooner than expected, we will send them as soon as possible.

Diameter / Width

The diameter of the case is generally given in mm. The crown (the button that lets you set the time) is not part of this measurement.
For simplifying the comparison we suggest that you measure a watch you already have.

Water resistance

The information given related to water resistance of watches refers to pressure tests they go through according to the DIN norms. The manufacturer guarantees that the watch is resistant to static test pressure in the condition it is at the time of delivery.

The water resistant mark properties does not last forever and may decrease over time due to various influences such as dust, temperature changes, liquids, shocks, falls, etc. Moreover, the watch may face higher pressures than those it supports after swimming movements or water contact (water jets, for example). Ultimately, many things can bring moisture into the watch. In general, we recommend to avoid contact with water. Only from a water resistant mark of 100 meters we might use this watch for swimming, for example.
You can find more information about water resistance in the manufacturer's manual of the watch or on the internet under DIN8310.

Warranty

You get an international manufacturer's warranty of 2 years. If you use the warranty, you can of course return the item to our address and we will deal with the manufacturer:
